ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,677,857, issued on July 14, was assigned to Firmenich SA (Satigny, Switzerland).

"Smoke flavoring compositions produced from cereal bran" was invented by Christoph Cerny (Shanghai), Yi-Chun Ding (Shanghai) and Wen-Juan Xiang (Shanghai).
