ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,546, issued on March 24, was assigned to Femasys Inc. (Suwanee, Ga.).

"Methods and devices for controlled delivery" was invented by Kathy Lee-Sepsick (Suwanee, Ga.) and Jeremy Sipos (Alpharetta, Ga.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are exemplary medical devices for controlled delivery of material compositions, particularly occlusive, therapeutic, or diagnostic compositions."
