ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,307, issued on April 14, was assigned to FCA US LLC (Auburn Hills, Mich.).

"Techniques for reducing vehicle energy consumption with dysfunctional hardwire wake-ups" was invented by Abhilash Gudapati (Auburn Hills, Mich.) and Rudolf Kharpuri (Auburn Hills, Mich.).
