ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,766,721, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to FANUC Corp. (Yamanashi, Japan).
"Robot simulation device" was invented by Yuuki Kimoto (Yamanashi, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This robot simulation device is provided with an operation simulation execution unit that executes an operation simulation of a robot in accordance with an operation program, and a driving sound generation unit that simulates and generates a driving sound according to an operation state of the robot in the operation simulation, on the basis of driving sound data obtained by recording the driving sound of an actual robot."
