ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,594,194, issued on April 7, was assigned to FANNIN (UK) Ltd. (Swadlincote, Great Britain).
"Eyelid closure patches" was invented by Joseph Coogan (Belfast Antrim, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An eyelid closure patch having a main body with a front face and a back face, where either one, or both, of the front face and/or the back face has a silicone adhesive at least partially covering the surface thereof. The main body can also have a semi-permeable or occlusive membrane."
