US Patent Issued to Ethox Chemicals on July 21 for "Drift control additive" (South Carolina Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,308, issued on July 21, was assigned to Ethox Chemicals LLC (Greenville, S.C.).

"Drift control additive" was invented by Charles F. Palmer Jr. (Greenville, S.C.), Ronald A. Bingeman (Greenville, S.C.) and William C. Floyd III (Greenville, S.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a drift control additive comprising a fatty acid terminated ethoxylated polyol, an oil and an ethoxylated fatty acid."

The patent was filed on Jan. 17, 2024, under Application No. 18/415,170.
