US Patent Issued to ENVUE MEDICAL HOLDINGS on June 30 for "Nasogastric tube" (Israeli Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,524, issued on June 30, was assigned to ENVUE MEDICAL HOLDINGS CORP. (Dover, Del.).

"Nasogastric tube" was invented by Doron Besser (Tel Aviv, Israel) and Guy Ben Ezra (Karkur, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method comprising a nasogastric tube comprising a feeding mechanism, a suction mechanism configured to sealingly draw an inner wall of an esophagus against said nasogastric tube, and a gastric decompression mechanism."

The patent was filed on Feb. 24, 2021, under Application No. 17/183,672.
