ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,654,124, issued on June 16, was assigned to Enviro Ambient Corp. (Marco Island, Fla.).
"Carbon dioxide capture device and method" was invented by Sanjeev Jolly (Louisville, Ky.) and Paul Scott (Toronto).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are methods and systems for capturing carbon dioxide from a gas stream. The methods and systems can also be used to reduce pollutants from a gas stream. The nozzle alignment of the system avoids droplet collision and merger with a corresponding loss of surface area. The high surface area of the droplets allows for increased efficiency of CO2 capture."
