US Patent Issued to Embrace Medical on July 21 for "Guidewire with elastically articulatable tip" (Israeli Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,844, issued on July 21, was assigned to Embrace Medical Ltd. (Tel Aviv, Israel).

"Guidewire with elastically articulatable tip" was invented by Michael Gabriel Tal (Tel Aviv, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A guidewire for vascular access has an elastically articulatable tip configured to minimize risk of vessel wall damage during initial insertion of the guidewire into the vasculature of a patient.
