ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,678,191, issued on July 14, was assigned to Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Anchor for transcatheter access into the coronary sinus" was invented by Linda Thai (Mission Viejo, Calif.), Michael G. Valdez (Riverside, Calif.), Tarannum Ishaq Gutierrez (Ladera Ranch, Calif.) and Don Huy Tran (Westminster, Calif.).
