ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,599,751, issued on April 14, was assigned to Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Medical device stabilizing systems and methods" was invented by Robert Bowes (Trabuco Canyon, Calif.) and Russ Hunton (Costa Mesa, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Various stabilizing systems and devices are described for holding and maneuvering medical devices.
