US Patent Issued to ECI Telecom on May 26 for "Connectivity aware path finding" (Israeli Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,640,984, issued on May 26, was assigned to ECI Telecom Ltd. (Petah Tikva, Israel).

"Connectivity aware path finding" was invented by Ziv Shem-Tov (Ramat Hasharon, Israel), Efraim Gelman (Ramat Gan, Israel), Inbal Hecht (Petah Tikva, Israel) and Shirel Ezra (Ganei Tal, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods are disclosed for configuring a communication network to satisfy a set of demands. A network management system can obtain a network graph representing the communication network, connectivity relationship that indicates valid pairs of edges for each vertex in the network graph, and a structure that lacks zero divisors....
