ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,560,114, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to ECC TEC MSJ Inc. (Boca Raton, Fla.).
"Catalytic converter" was invented by Saban Akyildiz (Boca Raton, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A catalytic converter includes at least one heating element that is configured to disrupt the direction of flow of exhaust gases which contain harmful toxic gases and pollutants and aid in removing and/or reducing said toxic gases and pollutants."
The patent was filed on May 26, 2023, under Application No. 18/202,520.
