US Patent Issued to DT SWISS on Sept. 22 for "Hub, in particular for bicycles" (Swiss Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,741,485, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to DT SWISS INC. (Grand Junction, Colo.).

"Hub, in particular for bicycles" was invented by Stefan Spahr (Lengnau, Switzerland) and Nicholas Omlin (Rapperswil, Switzerland).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hub for bicycles with a hub axle, a hub shell, a rotor and a freewheel device, wherein the hub shell rotates with a rotor-side hub bearing, and an outer hub bearing.
