ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,630,657, issued on May 19, was assigned to Dow Global Technologies LLC (Midland, Mich.).
"Bimodal polyethylene copolymer and film thereof" was invented by Bo Liu (Lake Jackson, Texas), John F. Szul (Hurricane, W.va.), Chuan C. He (Houston), Roger L. Kuhlman (Lake Jackson, Texas) and Timothy R. Lynn (Glen Gardner, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bimodal copolymer comprises on average at least 90 weight-percent units derived from ethylene and at least 0.05 weight percent units derived from an Alpha-olefin comonomer having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms, wherein the copolymer has the properties described herein."
