ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,590,319, issued on March 31, was assigned to DNA TWOPOINTO INC. (Newark, Calif.).
"Transposition of nucleic acid constructs into eukaryotic genomes with a transposase from amyelois" was invented by Jeremy Minshull (Los Altos, Calif.), Sridhar Govindarajan (Los Altos, Calif.) and Maggie Lee (San Jose, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides polynucleotide vectors for high expression of heterologous genes. Some vectors further comprise novel transposons and transposases that further improve expression. Further disclosed are vectors that can be used in a gene transfer system for stably introducing nucleic acids...
