ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,577,707, issued on March 17, was assigned to Denka Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).
"Artificial hair fiber" was invented by Takashi Muraoka (Tokyo) and Yuki Sagara (Chuo-ku, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An artificial hair fiber comprising a synthetic resin fiber; and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of palmitic acid, a palmitate, palmitic acid glyceride, stearic acid, a stearate, and stearic acid glyceride, adhering to the synthetic resin fiber, wherein a total content of the compound is 0.05 wt % or more and less than 0.15 wt % based on a total amount of the artificial hair fiber."
