US Patent Issued to Dell Products on June 16 for "High speed multi-focal camera" (Singaporean, Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,659,582, issued on June 16, was assigned to Dell Products LP (Round Rock, Texas).

"High speed multi-focal camera" was invented by Yi-Hsien Lin (Taipei City, Taiwan), Chih-Hao Kao (Singapore) and Ghee Beng Ooi (Singapore).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A camera captures a visual image of an object in a rapid manner by determining a distance to the object with a time-of-flight sensor and looking up an actuator position for actuating the camera lens to a focus based upon the distance.
