ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,675,685, issued on July 7, was assigned to Dell Products LP (Round Rock, Texas).

"Distributed fault detection" was invented by Pulkit Rathi (Bhopal, India), Ian Roche (Glanmire, Ireland) and Daniel Barrett (Moore, Okla.).
