ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,612, issued on March 24, was assigned to Cytodigm Inc. (Natick, Mass.).
"Pharmaceutical composition of Siglec-binding agents" was invented by Bin Wu (Lexington, Mass.), Zimeng Wang (Framingham, Mass.), Nicholas Boylan (Boylston, Mass.) and Jieni Xu (Quincy, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising an agent that can bind Siglec receptors on cell surface. This invention also provides the method of preparing said pharmaceutical composition and the use thereof."
