ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,243, issued on June 30, was assigned to Covidien LP (Mansfield, Mass.).

"Articulating endoscope with working channel" was invented by Shai Tofach (Louisville, Colo.), Chenghao Bi (Boulder, Colo.) and Derek S. Tata (Longmont, Colo.).
