ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,623,952, issued on May 12, was assigned to CORNING Inc. (Corning, N.Y.).

"Glasses having high fracture toughness" was invented by Xiaoju Guo (Pittsford, N.Y.), Peter Joseph Lezzi (Corning, N.Y.) and Jian Luo (Cupertino, Calif.).
