ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,677,325, issued on July 7, was assigned to Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Philadelphia).
"Random access process in new radio" was invented by Hyoungsuk Jeon (Centreville, Va.) and Esmael Hejazi Dinan (McLean, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. Random access procedures may include various types of procedures, such as four-step or two-step random access procedures."
The patent was filed on July 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/353,599.
