ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,563,604, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Philadelphia).
"Cell grouping for wireless communications" was invented by Esmael Hejazi Dinan (McLean, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Wireless communications may use a plurality of cell groups. A wireless device may not perform uplink transmission of channel state information and/or of hybrid automatic repeat request feedback via a second cell group while a time alignment timer associated with a first cell group is not running."
The patent was filed on Feb. 20, 2024, under Application No. 18/581,982.
