ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,582, issued on March 24, was assigned to Colgate-Palmolive Co. (New York).
"Oral care compositions and methods of use" was invented by Marcella Mourao (Sao Paulo), Enzo Utima (Sao Paulo) and Tatiana Cinquetti (Sao Paulo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are improved oral care formulations comprising precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) and synergistic preservative combinations selected. Methods of making and using the compositions are also provided."
The patent was filed on Aug. 6, 2021, under Application No. 17/396,102.
