ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,537, issued on June 30, was assigned to Colgate-Palmolive Co. (New York).
"Personal care compositions comprising cannabidiol and licorice" was invented by Jin Namkoong (High Bridge, N.J.), Qiang Wu (Hillsborough, N.J.) and Thomas Boyd (Metuchen, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are personal care compositions comprising cannabidiol dissolved in a carrier oil, e.g., hemp seed oil, and licorice extract, wherein the weight ratio of the cannabidiol to the licorice extract is in the range of from 1:6 to 1:40, as well as methods of using these compositions."
