ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,703,725, issued on Aug. 11, was assigned to Cocoon Biotech Inc. (Mansfield, Mass.).
"Silk-based products, formulations, and methods of use" was invented by Michael Santos (Mansfield, Mass.), Scott Delisle (Mansfield, Mass.), Lindsey Easthon (Mansfield, Mass.) and Riale T. Gilligan (Boston).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments of the present disclosure include formulations of silk-based product (SBP) formulations and related methods of preparation and use in a variety of applications in the fields of human therapeutics, veterinary medicine, agriculture, and material science."
