ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,654,010, issued on June 16, was assigned to Cochlear Ltd. (Macquarie University, Australia).

"Inductive link arrangement" was invented by Arun Venkatasubramanian (Boston), Rangarajan Jegadeesan (Singapore) and Rostislav Anatolievich Lemdiasov (Boston).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to an inductive coil arrangement for a transcutaneous inductive link arrangement, to devices incorporating the inductive coil arrangement and to a method of transmitting power and data using the inductive coil arrangement."
