US Patent Issued to Cobra Golf on June 23 for "Additive manufacturing for golf club shaft" (California Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,661,563, issued on June 23, was assigned to Cobra Golf Inc. (Carlsbad, Calif.).

"Additive manufacturing for golf club shaft" was invented by Bryce W. Hobbs (Escondido, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A golf club shaft includes an extended body that includes an outer layer and extends between a butt end and a tip end. The extended body includes at least two unlike materials printed together, and the extended body is unitary."

The patent was filed on April 27, 2023, under Application No. 18/140,109.
