ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,565,618, issued on March 3, was assigned to CNPC USA Corp. (Houston), Beijing Huamei Inc. (Beijing) and China National Petroleum Corp. (Beijing).

"Di-alkyl chain surfactants as a main surfactant for enhancing oil recovery for tight oil formations" was invented by Nancy Chun Zhou (Sugar Land, Texas), Fuchen Liu (Panjin City, China), Meng Lu (Sugar Land, Texas) and Steven Vaughan (Houston).
