ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,698,391, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to CNPC USA Corp. (Houston), BEIJING HUAMEI INC. (Beijing) and CHINA NATIONAL PETROLEUM Corp. (Beijing).

"Preparation of degradable polyester composites and use thereof" was invented by Peixiang Xing (Houston), Jiaxiang Ren (Houston) and Peng Cheng (Sugard Land, Texas).
