US Patent Issued to CNH Industrial America on Feb. 17 for "Agricultural header with a draper belt including a seed saver disposed behind one or more crop ramps" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,550,823, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to CNH Industrial America LLC (New Holland, Pa.).

"Agricultural header with a draper belt including a seed saver disposed behind one or more crop ramps" was invented by Jeffrey D. Thomas (Gordonville, Pa.) and Joel T. Cook (Lititz, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A header for an agricultural harvester includes: a header frame; a plurality of cutters carried by the header frame and configured to sever crop material; a draper belt carried by the header frame rearwardly of the cutters and configured to travel in a travel direction; at least one crop ramp associated with at least one of the cutters...
