ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,670,084, issued on June 30, was assigned to Cisco Technology Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Mitigation of data loss from trace sampling" was invented by Najuka Prakash Sankhe (San Jose, Calif.), Jaideep Padhye (San Jose, Calif.) and Tom Thekkel Jose (Milpitas, Calif.).
