ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,584, issued on July 21, was assigned to Circa Scientific Inc. (Englewood, Colo.).

"Instrument port for epicardial ablation with anatomical epicardial structures and real-time lesion image processor" was invented by Thomas Marchand (Boston) and Jonathan B. O'Keefe (North Attleboro, Mass.).
