ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,800, issued on April 14, was assigned to Children's Medical Center Corp. (Boston) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Inc. (Boston).

"Therapeutic use of mitochondria and combined mitochondrial agents" was invented by James D. McCully (Marblehead, Mass.), Sidney Levitsky (Boston), Douglas B. Cowan (West Roxbury, Mass.), Pedro J. del Nido (Lexington, Mass.) and Sitaram M. Emani (Boston).
