According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for utilizing the hard cracking of cannabinoids includes providing a substantially pure cannabinoid isolate; optionally, adding terpenes or other flavor additives; optionally, physically mixing the combination; heating the isolate or mixture to a hard cracking point of the cannabinoid for a period of time; rapidly cooling to form a crystalline cannabinoid."
