ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,504, issued on April 7, was assigned to Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) (Paris) and Universite Paris-Saclay (Gif sur Yvette, France).

"Methods for screening compounds for bactericidal activity and for determining the sensitivity of bacterial samples" was invented by Dominique Fourmy (Chevreuse, France), Satoko Yoshizawa (Chevreuse, France), Marie Ebeyer-Masotta (Franconville, France) and Jean-Luc Pernodet (Cachan, France).
