ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,663,006, issued on June 23, was assigned to Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, Ill.).

"Pump or fluid-powered motor connection" was invented by Kazuma Sasaki (Akashi, Japan), Naoki Sawada (Kako-Gun, Japan) and Stive Ramalho (Isle d'Abeau, France).
