ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,599,202, issued on April 14, was assigned to CASIO COMPUTER Co. LTD. (Tokyo).
"Band timepiece" was invented by Masaki Miyata (Musashino, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A band including a band main body in which a catching portion with one end open is provided extending in a longitudinal direction, and a decorative member having a decorative main body which is arranged on at least an outer surface of the band main body and an engaging portion which is provided on the decorative main body and slidably caught in the catching portion."
The patent was filed on Dec. 13, 2022, under Application No. 18/065,032.
