US Patent Issued to Capital One Services on Oct. 20 for "Techniques to utilize resource locators by a contactless card to perform a sequence of operations" (Maryland, Massachusetts, District Of Columbia, Virginia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,770,135, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to Capital One Services LLC (McLean, Va.).

"Techniques to utilize resource locators by a contactless card to perform a sequence of operations" was invented by Jeffrey Rule (Chevy Chase, Md.), Kaitlin Newman (Washington), Colin Hart (Arlington, Va.) and Kevin Osborn (Newton, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments may be generally directed to methods, techniques and devices to utilize a contactless card to perform a series of operations."
