ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,590, issued on April 14, was assigned to BW Converting Inc. (Green Bay, Wis.).

"Surface rewinder with center assist and belt and winding drum forming a winding nest" was invented by Michael E. Techlin (DePere, Wis.).

The web material to be wound is directed about a rotating winding drum.
