US Patent Issued to Buff and Shine on March 3 for "Buffing pad" (California Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,564,917, issued on March 3, was assigned to Buff and Shine Mfg. Inc. (Rancho Dominguez, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A buffing pad assembly having a buffing pad, an attachment means, and an insert (e.g., plastic ring) is provided. In one embodiment, a channel is cut into a side of the buffing pad, creating first and second side portions. The attachment means is then affixed (glued) to a back surface of the buffing pad and the insert is centered on an upper surface of the attachment means.
