ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,669,078, issued on June 30, was assigned to Brunswick Corp. (Mettawa, Ill.).
"Thermally resistant composite exhaust coupler" was invented by Kevin R. Anderson (Fond du Lac, Wis.), Andrew J. Bingen (Iron Ridge, Wis.), Daniel D. Treptow (Cedarburg, Wis.) and Kenneth G. Lemberger (Oshkosh, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A thermally resistant exhaust coupler having a thickness, an inner cylindrical surface and an outer cylindrical surface constructed of an elastomeric polymer and extend the length of the coupler as elastomeric polymer layers.
