"Hemp paper bags" was invented by Steve Kohn (Short Hills, N.J.), Luis DeOliveira (Lanoka Harbor, N.Y.), James Cottrell II (Rock City Falls, N.Y.) and Josh Cottrell (Rock City Falls, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The use of one hundred percent hemp paper for use in paper bags."
