ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 27 -- United States Patent no. 12,773,536, issued on Oct. 27, was assigned to Boston Scientific Scimed Inc. (Maple Grove, Minn.).
"Drainage devices and methods of use" was invented by Martyn G. Folan (Galway, Ireland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure is related to medical devices, stents, drainage devices, and the like, which feature a doubled back design. Various embodiments described herein have a portion with overlapping layers, at least one of which may comprise a cover."
