US Patent Issued to BOREALIS on June 30 for "Polyethylene composition for a film layer" (Finnish Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,688, issued on June 30, was assigned to BOREALIS GMBH (Vienna).

"Polyethylene composition for a film layer" was invented by John Jamieson (Porvoo, Finland), Ravindra Tupe (Espoo, Finland), Pauli Leskinen (Porvoo, Finland) and Jarmo Kela (Porvoo, Finland).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a multimodal polymer of ethylene, to the use of the multimodal polymer of ethylene in film applications and to a film comprising the multimodal polymer of ethylene of the invention."
