ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,623,501, issued on May 12, was assigned to Board of Trustees of Michigan State University (East Lansing, Mich.).

"Amphibious snake robot" was invented by Xiaobo Tan (Okemos, Mich.), Hongyang Shi (East Lansing, Mich.) and Christian Robert Luedtke (East Lansing, Mich.).
