ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,633,859, issued on May 19, was assigned to Board of Regents, The University of Texas System (Austin, Texas).

"Portable variable frequency drive" was invented by Matthew Peter May (San Antonio), John A. Saldana (Puyallup, Wash.) and Brent Carlton Tyroff (Boerne, Texas).
