According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The new blueberry plant variety 'IBUGA001' is provided. 'IBUGA001' is a commercial variety. The variety is produced from open pollination of the 'TH-909' variety (not patented). 'IBUGA001' displays a semi-erect to prostrate plant with strong vigor, provides very early berry ripening, and exhibits large fruit with medium sweetness and medium firmness."
