ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,664,170, issued on June 23, was assigned to Black Hills IP Holdings LLC (Minneapolis).

"Patent mapping" was invented by Steven W. Lundberg (Edina, Minn.) and Lars Olof Hugo Svensson (Plymouth, Minn.).
